MUSCAT, 26th October, 2016 (WAM) -- H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs and Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal al-Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, today attended signing of the in International road transport of passengers and goods agreement between the UAE and Sultanate of Oman, at the Al Bustan Palace Hotel, Muscat.

The agreement is part of the distinguished relations and the two countries' desire to enhance co-operation in this field for the benefit of the two fraternal peoples and countries.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Minister of Infrastructure Development from the UAE side and Dr Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Salim Al Futaisi, Omani Minister of Transport and Communications on the sidelines of the 18th session meeting held today of the Oman-UAE Higher Joint Committee.

H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan led the UAE delegation and the Omani side was led by Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal bin Saud al-Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, with participation of a number of Ministers, officials and specialists from both sides.

The two sides discussed means of enhancing co-operation in areas of common concern, particularly those related to the economic and trade aspects, as well as activating co-ordination on their regard to push them forward to wider horizon to serve interests of the two fraternal countries and peoples.
