AMMAN — The Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (TRC) on Tuesday said that it had provided the Treasury with some JD94.083 million during the first five months of the year.

TRC Chief Commissioner Ghazi Jbour said that the commission has collected 88 per cent of the expected revenues during 2021, which stand at JD107 million, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Jbour added that the commission is among the top independent institutions in terms of generating income to the Treasury, noting that the TRC, since its establishment, has provided the Treasury with some JD1.953 billion.
