"Sharjah Sustainable City", concluded its participation in the real estate investment exhibition "ACRES 2020", which was held at the Expo Center Sharjah. The city was keen to communicate its offerings with public and investors and present the benefits of real estate investments, and introduce the distinct opportunities arising from the continuous growth in real estate in the emirate of Sharjah.

The real estate units within "Sharjah Sustainable City", the first sustainable real estate project in the emirate of Sharjah, received great interest from investors and visitors at the exhibition. The city was established in a strategic partnership between the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) and "Diamond Developers", the company specialized in developing sustainable environmental projects in the UAE.

Sharjah Sustainable City has completed the infrastructure works in the first phase of the project, which will be delivered in 2021. It includes 280 villas and 100 flats for rent, an educational institution, a “Sustainability Center”, a commercial complex, in addition to organic farms. The project, which will be implemented on four phases, with a total of 3,300,000 sq. Ft. of residential area, whereas each phase is about 825,000 sq. Ft., The whole project is due to be completed and handed over in 2023.

 “We are pleased with the encouraging results of our active participation in this year’s edition of the Real Estate Investment Exhibition “ACRES”, where our stand has witnessed a large number of visitors, specially investors, who showed great interest and eagerness to know more details of the project,” said Yousif Ahmed Al-Mutawa, CEO of Sharjah Sustainable City.

Al-Mutawa revealed that the offer, which includes monthly installments of less than 1% for a period of 7 years, would be available after the exhibition until the end of March 2020, due to the high demand by buyers during the exhibition days.

Al-Mutawa commented; ACERS provided an opportunity for those who are involved in real estate investments who are trying to get more information on projects on one platform. He stressed that ACERS turned to be an important event for investors who are willing to access the leading real estate projects in the UAE and Sharjah in particular. It helped them in purchase and investment decisions, as well as providing support to real estate workers and providing investors in other sectors with a rare chance to communicate with each other to forge partnerships, make deals and exchange experiences.
