Seoul-headquartered Heerim Architects and Planners Co said in a stock exchange statement on Tuesday that it has signed 18.38 billion South Korean Won ($16.20 million) design and engineering services contract for Fifth Precinct Stadium project in Qatar.

The contract was awarded by the joint venture (JV) of Qatar’s AlJaber Engineering (JEC) and Turkish construction firm, Tekfen Construction, according to the statement filed by Heerim with the Korea Exchange.

In February 2017, the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC) had appointed the JV as the main contractor for the 40,000-seat stadium being built in Doha’s Al Thumama district, according to a statement on the SC website.

Tekfen Holding has put the cost of the project at 1.25 billion Qatari riyals ($342.5 million) in a February statement on its website.

The SC statement said the stadium is scheduled for completion by 2020 and will host FIFA World Cup matches up to the quarter-final stage.

It said Qatar-based Arab Engineering Bureau is the project’s design and construction supervision consultant and TiME Qatar is the project manager.

Other World Cup stadiums in the main construction stage include Al Rayyan Stadium, Qatar Foundation Stadium, Lusail Stadium, Khalifa International Stadium, Al Bayt Stadium and Al Wakrah Stadium.
