SHARJAH, 19th April, 2017 (WAM)--The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) is participating at the International Exhibition of Hanover Messi 2017, one of the world's largest industrial and technology innovation events, which will take place from April 24-28 in Hanover, Germany.

The pavilion, led by the Ministry of Economy and the Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi, comprises a number of industrial institutions, governmental and semi-governmental bodies, as well as a number of leading private sector institutions.

The Hanover Messi exhibition is the largest industrial exhibition in the world. It is set to attract more than 250,000 visitors, businessmen and officials from all over the world.

Khalid bin Butti Al Hajri, Director -General of Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said, "The Chamber's participation in this important international industrial event stems from its keenness to keep abreast with the latest industrial developments, harness economic opportunities and learn about the latest industrial technology." The participation also comes within the strategy of the chamber to strengthen the industrial sector in the Emirate of Sharjah, he said.
