Manama: Seef Properties, one of the leading integrated real estate development companies in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has recently organised a campaign to clean Karbabad public beach, in cooperation with Ibn Khuldoon National School (IKNS).

The campaign was organised as part of the Company’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives towards the Bahraini society and witnessed the participation of a large number of IKNS students, with the aim of instilling the concept of charitable work and the culture of volunteering among future generations, in order to serve the local community, and to protect the environment and the coasts of the Kingdom from waste.

This initiative is in line with the four strategic values of Seef Properties; support, culture, sustainability and awareness, through which the Company seeks to create a better future and improve the well-being for all members of the society, while also endeavouring to achieve community partnership through supporting charitable and humanitarian works.

The Company was keen to involve IKNS students in the campaign to encourage benevolent acts and educate them about the importance of preserving their surroundings, in addition to voluntarily serve all segments of society, by contributing to keeping beaches/public places clean.

Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Ahmed Yusuf, Chief Executive Officer of Seef Properties, said: “We are glad to participate with IKNS in launching one of our initiatives to promote social responsibility. The Company takes pride in its solid commitment towards performing its national duty, in terms of harnessing all its capabilities and providing various aspects of support and assistance to the Bahraini society in all its segments, within the framework of its endeavour to build a charitable and humanitarian model with integrated elements and tangible outcomes in community engagement.”

The CEO added: “This initiative is an integral element of the Company’s success in promoting social responsibility since its establishment as one of the leading real estate development companies in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Social responsibility has been and remains an integral part of the Company’s philosophy to develop a prosperous and integrated society, and to move steadily towards a better future through supporting sustainable development in the Kingdom. We reaffirm our commitment to launch more social responsibility initiatives to serve a larger segment of development goals and serve the local community.”

On his part, Dr Kamal Abdulnoor, IKNS President, said: “We are honoured to encourage our students to participate in Karbabad public beach clean-up campaign that is organised by Seef Properties; one of the key national companies that is keen to promote social responsibility at the level of the Kingdom, especially in environment protection projects. The School is keen to be part of such benevolent campaigns with its partners in the private sector, with the aim of educating future generations about the importance of contributing to protecting their society from pollution and harmful non-environmental practices.”
