Cairo, Egypt:– Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, announced today entering a global alliance with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) during 2021, with an aim to provide both companies’ customers in Egypt with a wide range of products specifically designed to meet the needs of corporations and engineers in system integration, data centers, and information technology. The announcement was made during a round table held at Dusit Thani Hotel, in the presence of Ramy Mostafa, Vice President of Projects and Information Technology for Schneider Electric Egypt, North Africa and the Levant, and Mohamed Wasfy, Country Manager at Hewlett Packard Enterprise Egypt and a number of journalists. Under the new alliance, Schneider Electric will provide racks, PDU, Cabling, Airflow, UPS; and Monitoring Netbotz, while HPE will provide storage units and servers.

The new alliance between Schneider Electric and HPE is aimed to launch a package of products specially tailored to suit the needs of edge computing users across many sectors, including telecom service providers, banking and retail, which will positively impact data processing speed, enhance performance, reduce operating costs and make applications and services more reliable.

This move comes within the framework of Schneider Electric's keenness to form a global alliance in Egypt, through which it can add more value of its customers, exchange experiences, and provide customers with an integrated package of products that live up to their expectations in one of the most vital technological industries represented in edge computing, coupled with its foray into several domains, as well as expand its utilization in the future.

Furthermore, the new alliance is set to enable Schneider Electric to foray into new markets and sectors, including telecom service providers, banking and retail, through close coordination and cooperation with HPE to provide companies and professionals in system integration, data centers and the information technology sector with products that enable them to boost their performance and achieve strong results and thus utilize their capabilities to the highest possible level.

Ramy Mostafa, Vice President of Projects and Information Technology for Schneider Electric Egypt, North Africa and the Levant, expressed his pride in the new alliance with HPE, which will be a new valuable addition to the Egyptian market. He noted that the primary goal of the two companies is to serve customers and fulfill their aspirations, in a manner that is the best interest of all relevant parties.

Schneider Electric's keenness to form alliances with international companies operating in Egypt is driven by its leading position in energy management and automation, in addition to its ultimate goal, namely, to achieve customer satisfaction and provide them with a wide array of products and services that help them scale up their business and activities, Mostafa added. He also highlighted that there are many new sectors and markets that Schneider Electric can foray into and make the most of them, as with such an alliance.
