Saudi Arabia will offer projects with a combined value of at least 600 billion Saudi riyals ($160billion) at the annual conference organized by the Gulf Kingdom's top contractors body in March, according to the organizers.

More than 37 Saudi public establishments will attend the March 22-24 virtual conference in the capital Riyadh, the third annual even to be staged by the Saudi Contractors' Authority (SCA), which represents the construction industry in the largest Arab economy and dominant oil exporter.

In a statement carried by Alriyadh and other Saudi dailies, SCA said the projects to be offered at the online "Future Projects Forum" cover infrastructure, petrochemicals, housing, energy, water and electricity, mining, maintenance and other sectors.

"The conference constitutes a major opportunity for contractors to discover future projects offered by various government departments under one umbrella...it is also an opportunity to build relations and alliances among contractors," SCA said.
