Riyadh –  The Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC) and the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (Modon) signed an agreement to provide Sudair City for Industry and Businesses’ facilities with desalinated water.

The deal aims to attract more national and international investments in tandem with the Saudi Vision 2030 and provides comprehensive infrastructure and basic services elements to Sudair city, according to an official statement on Monday.

Under the deal, SWCC will inject 5,000 cubic meters of desalinated water every day to the industrial city, as per its growth in the future.

SWCC added it currently explores and develops bilateral cooperation frameworks to ensure a sustainable supply of desalinated water. It will further provide technical and engineering services to Modon's industrial cities plants.

Noteworthy to mention, the agreement falls within the framework of the partnership between the public and private sectors to empower industry whilst contributing to increase the national content.
