Riyadh - Mubasher: The Human Resources Development Fund (Hadaf) and the Saudi Federation for Cyber Security and Programming (SAFCSP) agreed to cooperate in a training programme to employ Saudi nationals in 13 new technical specialities required by the labour market.

Hadaf will bear the charges for the theoretical and practical training, while SAFCSP will provide job opportunities for the national calibres in the fields of cybersecurity, programming, big data, and artificial intelligence (AI), according to an official statement on Sunday.

The collaboration comes in light of the support agreement recently concluded between the two parties to train, qualify, and develop the skills of the national workforce to occupy jobs in the private sector while guaranteeing their job stability following the four-month training period.

Moreover, it aims at engaging the national manpower and empowering them to work in advanced technological specialisations, in a bid to narrow the gap between the demand and labour market needs, hence, raising the kingdom’s technical sector efficiency.
