Muscat: A video conference has been held between Oman's Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MoCIIP) and the Saudi Minister of Investment.

"Qais bin Mohammad Al-Youssef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, held a meeting via video conference, with His Excellency Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, Minister of Investment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with the participation of a number of officials from both sides,” a statement said.

"During the meeting, aspects of joint cooperation between the two brotherly countries in the field of investment and available opportunities were reviewed."

The Ministry added that the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and Oman Vision 2040 were also discussed, as well as the targets and projects for economic diversification that could be invested in between the two sides as well as identifying possible investment opportunities between the two countries."
