Oman to fine $2600 for not clearing construction waste

The Municipality has activated field teams to monitor sites

Muscat: People who dump construction debris and don’t clean it up will be fined OMR1,000($2600) and will also be made to clean up the site, Muscat Municipality in Seeb, announced.

In a statement online MM said, "As part of the follow-up action to reduce the dumping of waste, Muscat Municipality of Al Seeb commits offenders to clean sites [where] waste [is being dumped] and impose a fine of OMR1,000. The Municipality has activated field teams to monitor sites, and carry out inspections.”
