ABU DHABI, April 20 (Reuters) - Omani Oil and Gas Minister Mohammad bin Hamad al-Rumhy said on Thursday a "quite high" number of producers favoured extending a supply restraint agreement aimed at propping up petroleum prices.

"The number of countries that are supporting the extension I think would be quite high, percentage-wise" Rumhy told reporters on the sidelines of a conference in the United Arab Emirates. (Reporting by Stanley Carvalho, Editing by William Maclean)
