Oman's Ministry of Tourism has issued a notice asking hotel establishments to implement the decisions issued by the Supreme Committee to deal with COVID-19, said a report.

All hotels establishments, including hotels, resorts, camps, and hotel apartments, must stop social gatherings such as weddings, celebrations and other events in the halls and the interior and exterior spaces of hotel establishments as of March 17, said a report in Times of Oman, citing a statement from the Ministry.

The Ministry confirmed that these procedures are temporary, the report said.
