Thousands of new paid parking spaces have been created in Al Ain. The Department of Transport's (DoT) Integrated Transport Center (ITC) in Abu Dhabion Sunday announced the implementation of 4,397 surface parking bays in Sector 3 Hai Al Qasr, Sector 4 Hai Al Qalaa, Sector 5 Nad Al Rusas, Sector 9 Hai Al Madheef and Sector 12 Hai Al Murabba starting fromJuly 8, as part of the center's endeavor to raise the level of road safety in the emirate.

The ITC stated that 242 standard parking bays have been implemented in Sector 3 Hai Al Qasr including three parking bays dedicated for people with determinationin. The sector is located in the area bordered by Khalifa Bin Zayed Street in the north, Zayed Bin Sultan Street in the South, Hessa Bint Mahamed Street in the east and Mohammed Bin Khalifa Street in the west.

In Sector 4 Hai Al Qalaa, 1,584 standard parking bays have been implemented including three parking bays for people with determination and three fire hydrant. The area is bordered by Zayed Bin Sultan Street in the north, Sultan Bin Zayed Al the FirstStreet in the south, Hessa Bint Mohamed Street in the east, Mohammed Bin Khalifa Street in the west.

As for Sector 5 Nad Al Rusas, in the area that is bordered by Shakboot bin Sultan Street in the north, Ali bin Abi Talib Street in the South, Abu Baker Al Siddiq Street in the east and Hessa Bint Mohamed Street in the west, 682 parking bays were implemented including 462 standard parking bays, 212 premium parking bays and eight parking bays dedicated for People with Determination.

Other new parking spaces include parking bays in Sector 9 Hai Al Madheef, 657 with 590 standard parking bays, 54 premium parking bays, eightparking bays dedicated for the people with determination and five fire hydrant bays.

In Sector 12 Hai Al Murabba, 1232 parking bays were implemented with 1168 standard parking bays, 59 premium parking bays, five parking bays dedicated for People with Determination. The area is bordered by 16th Street in the north, Zayed Bin Sultan Street in the southwest, Hamza Bin Abdulmuttalib Street in the east and Othman Bin Affan Street in the southeast.
