Doha: Msheireb Properties, Qatar's leading sustainable property developer, received the 2021 USGBC Middle East Leadership Award from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), appreciating the company’s Outstanding Commitment to Advancing Green Building for its flagship project Msheireb Downtown Doha, the world's first sustainable downtown regeneration project.

As the only winner for this award from Qatar, the prestigious award marks a new milestone achievement for Msheireb Properties joining an impressive slate of awardees that include organizations, projects and individuals around the world who are using green building and sustainable practices to improve the quality of life for those around them. This year's recipients were recognized at the USGBC Leadership Awards Ceremony that took place recently during the inaugural USGBC Live virtual event.
