Riyadh – The Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (Modon) revealed that it has signed contracts with Kuwait's Al Shaya Group to establish two specialised factories in the food sector, according to Modon’s twitter on Wednesday.

The first plant will be established in Sadir for Industry and Business Station, while the second will be built in Jeddah's 1st Industrial City.

The two projects are spread over an area of 34,000 square metres, with a total capacity of 10,000 tonnes.

The projects’ total cost amounted to SAR 200 million, and they are expected to be completed by 2022.
