London: Mashora Group is hosting a webinar on September 24 titled “MENA Post-COVID: Economic Recovery & China’s Role”. The webinar will explore what economic recovery would look like in MENA countries and the role of China in supporting green growth in the region.

The webinar targets a wide audience including, investors, policymakers, multilateral organisations and other stakeholders. The event is set to welcome Dr. Mahmoud Mohieldin, who is the United Nation’s Special Envoy on Financing the 2030 Agenda and the former Minister of Investment of Egypt, Mr. Richard Hu Fei, the General Manager of PowerChina, and Dr. Abdulaziz Sager, Founder and Chairman of the Gulf Research Center.

Alia Eshaq, Managing Partner of Mashora Group is  “delighted to host this webinar which will offer a great platform to engage stakeholders in assessing the MENA region’s opportunities and challenges and the path to recovery. The decision by countries like the UAE and Bahrain to normalise ties with Israel is an indication of the region’s shifting international relations. Changes could also be witnessed with regards to the region’s sustainability practices. MENA countries are seen pivoting further East while also ‘going green’”.
