Dubai: Lockton Insurance Brokers UAE has announced the appointment of its new Chief Executive Officer, Faris Khatib. Khatib will provide executive leadership to Lockton MENA Limited’s subsidiary in the UAE. 

Khatib brings deep rooted experience of the region to the role, from first working for Deloitte ME in its consultancy division and subsequently joining Lockton MENA in 2012 engaging on key partnerships relating to strategic expansion projects. More recently, he assumed the role of the Employee Benefits leader for the region and was appointed to Lockton’s Global Employee Benefits leadership committee. The Employee Benefits practice was transformed regionally under his leadership.

Fadi Askhar joined Lockton Insurance Brokers on 15th June 2020 as the new Head of Employee Benefits Practice. He is a well accomplished leader, with more than 20 years’ experience in the Middle East insurance market. Fadi held throughout his career several senior positions at Metlife, Aviva, and most recently Zurich where he was the Head of Life and Pensions for Middle East and Asia Pacific.

Adeeb Al Naser also joined on the 15th June 2020 as Head of Business Development. He started his career in 2007 with MetLife UAE where he was in charge of the Broker distribution channel. In 2011, Adeeb joined Zurich International Life leading their expansion into KSA, Oman and Qatar.

Lockton also confirmed that Arafat Khatib will continue in his role as General Manager for Lockton Insurance Brokers UAE.
