Kuwait-based Mezzan Holding, one of the largest distributors of food, beverage, FMCG and healthcare products in the Gulf, has announced that a fully-owned unit of the company has signed a joint venture agreement with a limited liability company in Kuwait.

The joint venture will manage the sale and distribution of Medtronic and Covidien medical products and equipment, catering to health care needs in Kuwait, said a statement.

Mezzan’s subsidiary has 51 per cent ownership in the JV. Medtronic - Covidien are the world's largest medical and surgical device makers and healthcare providers of medical technology, it stated. – TradeArabia News Service
