Kuwaiti's Ministry of Housing and Public Works has announced that a total of 6,000 new residential units will be ready for delivery to the eligible citizens by April this year.

The announcement comes following a meeting between Minister of Housing and Public Works Jenan Bushehri and the Chinese contractor which is involved in the implementation of the second contract containing 18,519 housing units, reported Arab Times.

During the meeting, the Chinese contractor updated Bushehri and senior officials of the Housing Authority on the ongoing project work and its timeline, stated the report.

The housing units, to be in the range of 5,000 to 6,000, will be handed over to the beneficiaries in three stages, it added.
