Muscat - Kuwait Airways has got the new terminal 4 and said that all GCC and Middle East flights have started operation from Kuwait Airport's newly constructed Terminal 4.

The Terminal 4, a newly constructed US$176.3mn passenger terminal was officially inaugurated on August 8, 2018 as a stopgap to ease congestion at Kuwait International Airport.

The new Terminal 4, spanning 55,000sq m, has a capacity of 4.5mn passengers a year and can accommodate up to 6mn, according to officials. Further, the terminal has 14 boarding gates, 50 check-in counters, duty free shops and all the waiting area seats throughout the terminal have both power ports and USB ports.

The new Terminal 4 will be managed by the South Korean Incheon International Airport corporation who holds the record of being ranked the best Airport worldwide for 11 consecutive years.

Terminal 4 is the dedicated terminal for Kuwait’s national carrier Kuwait Airways. The new terminal is located on the right just before arriving at the main airport. There are signs up now that point to Terminal 4 and there is also a new exit that was constructed.

Kuwait Airways operated its first flight from Kuwait to Bahrain and later added Dubai, GCC and now the Middle East flights to operate from this newly constructed Terminal 4. The other flights operating to the rest of the destinations will be added soon.
