Abu Dhabi: Khidmah, a leading Facilities Management and Maintenance Company, has received, for the fifth consecutive year, the Accredited Training Hub Certification from the British Institute of Cleaning Science. This year, and for the sixth consecutive time, Khidmah employees passed the rigorous evaluation process to became certified ‘Assessors’ under the Cleaning Professional Skills Suite Training Program. The British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) is the largest independent, professional and educational body within the cleaning industry with over 30,000 Individual and Corporate Members. The institute maintains an active role in setting international standards and procedures for cleaning and training education around the world.

The certified supervisors will be able to train more than 500 employees to ensure BICSc world class cleaning hygiene, environmental and safety standards are implemented in completing their respective jobs.

Stephen Fenn, Executive Director of Khidmah, said, “Khidmah recognizes that success can only be maintained and enhanced by continual staff training and development coupled with the introduction of new innovative solutions to service our clients. With this in mind, we are very proud to be recertified by BICSc and congratulate our certified employees for gaining accreditation to serve as mentors to their colleagues and teach them best practices.”

Fenn added, “Having our employees comply with global standards improves operational efficiency for our customers, reduces costs and most importantly, enhances safe service delivery.”
