InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort and Spa has announced its leadership team, ahead of the opening of the flagship resort.

Opening during the 75th anniversary of the InterContinental brand, the resort which is situated along the shores of the Arabian Sea, will be headed by General Manager Mohamed Mahmoud. With over 20 years experience at IHG Hotels & Resorts, this is Mahmouds third hotel opening, having previously opened resorts in Saudi Arabia and Fujariah.

The six restaurants and bars, which are inspired by the surrounding nature of the mountains, desert & sea, will be overseen by Director of Food and Beverage, Jae Hak Lee. A chef by trade, including three years as Executive Chef at InterContinental Fujairah, Lee will be responsible for providing experiential dining and joins from InterContinental Regency Bahrain.

Jakub Adamowicz will ensure the upkeep of the 351-room resort, which includes suites and villas, as Director of Engineering. A specialist in opening and re-branding, Adamowicz has close to 20 years of hospitality experience and was most recently multi-property Director of Engineering in Doha.

The sales and marketing team will be led by Director of Sales and Marketing Natalie Litowtschik, who brings a wealth of experience in luxury pre-openings across the UAE and in the Seychelles.

Carey White, whose 30 years of experience includes resorts in the Middle East, Asia, Australiasia joins as Director of HR, whilst Maroun Darou, who has 14 years experience with IHG Hotels & Resorts, joins as Director of Finance.
