Parents of Indian School Bahrain (ISB) students have been warned about a group of individuals illegally raising funds under the pretext of helping pupils.

“The ISB hasn’t authorised anyone to collect money on behalf of the school,” a statement issued by the school said. “These individuals who have no connection with the school are collecting money without giving receipts.

“The Indian School cannot be held responsible for such illegal transactions.”

ISB honorary chairman Prince S Natarajan said the school has a grievance redressal system which should be followed by all parents.

Those wishing to contribute are requested to approach the principal or the academic team.

“The Indian School will take stringent action against those who illegally collect money, misleading the parents and community members,” the statement added.
