Common aspirations to develop, launch and operate initiatives geared towards preparing Arab youth in entering local and global competition

UAE: In line with the continuing efforts towards translating the vision of the country's wise leadership to support, encourage and empower young people to ensure the sustainability of the development and construction process, the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU) has announced the signing of a strategic new partnership agreement with AIMentor.net, a premier e-learning platform, to advance the supportive e-training platform's vision to produce young capabilities and equip them with the necessary tools needed in building a diversified economy based on innovation.

The agreement was signed by Fahd Al Saadi, HBMSU’s Vice-Chancellor Learners Development; and Ibrahim Kamel, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of AlMentor.net, in the presence of Dr. Mansoor Al Awar, Chancellor of HBMSU, and Dr. Ihab Fikry, Founder & CEO of AlMentor.net. During the signing, both parties affirmed their commitment to develop, launch and implement initiatives aimed at preparing Arab youth.

According to HBMSU's senior officials, the new partnership represents an important addition to its efforts towards providing the new generation with the essential skills needed to be at pace with the requirements of the 21st century, by providing them with quality education, including electronic training based on the latest technological innovations. Both parties agreed to utilize accumulative experiences, advanced technological capabilities, knowledge and academic resources in achieving its common aspirations, which fall in line with the UAE's move to educate the new generation and allow them to lead the growth and sustainability of the national economy--positioning the UAE as one of the most advanced countries in the world.

Dr. Mansoor Al Awar said, "HBMSU remains steadfast in its commitment to support national trends in enabling young people to lead efforts to achieve goals of future strategies in support of establishing the UAE leadership on the global map, keeping in mind our work in accordance with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and President of HBMSU, in employing and harnessing smart technology to promote and empower young nationals as a top priority and a mainstay for translating the vision of our wise leadership in creating a more prosperous future. The agreement affirms our value towards sharing growth to move forward in the process of re-engineering the future of higher education based on innovation and the starting and transformation."

Al Awar added, “The new partnership is aimed towards creating self-learning content via the Internet, opening new horizons to continue in our effective contributions to harness advanced technology to advance the educational system and enhance lifelong learning opportunities for all, based on the principle of equal opportunities and in line with our full commitment to make a positive difference in peoples’ lives through smart education and lifelong learning.”
