Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain : Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, yesterday participated in the International Tourism Bourse (ITB) in the capital of Germany, Berlin. ITB Berlin is a leading travel trade show that takes place annually in March and is attended by key international professionals of the travel industry. The airline participated alongside Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) and a number of Bahraini travel and tourism industry representatives including hotels, travel agencies and destination management companies. Gulf Air promoted its latest products, services, destinations as well as its title sponsorship of the upcoming Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix, due to take place on 29-31 March 2019.

The show provides a unique opportunity for global travel trade industry to meet, network, negotiate, and conduct business. Gulf Air’s attendance at the event is in line with its longstanding mission and continuous efforts to promote the Kingdom of Bahrain to an international audience as a tourist, business and stopover destination. Bahrain’s national carrier has a long history with ITB Berlin and has been a key exhibitor for many years.

Gulf Air operates daily nonstop flights between Bahrain and Frankfurt and provides excellent two-way connectivity. Regional passengers can seamlessly connect via Bahrain to Frankfurt while Germany-based travellers can fly non-stop to Bahrain, with onward connections to key cities throughout the Middle East, Africa, India Subcontinent and the Far East.
