Dubai, UAE: A number of high-ranking officials today visited the stand of Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI) at the Dubai Airshow 2019 as the company began its inaugural participation in the biggest aerospace event in the Middle East, Asia, and Africa, taking place at Dubai World Central from 17 – 21 November.

SAMI’s CEO Dr. Andreas Schwer, along with other senior executives, received H.R.H. Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Chairman of the Saudi Space Agency, H.E. Eng. Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Ohali, Governor of the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI), H.E. Abdulhadi Almansouri, President of General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), Maj. Gen. Abdullah bin Ibrahim Al-Ghamdi, Deputy Commander of the Joint Forces, and Brig. Gen. Ayed al-Jeaid, Chairman of flynas.

The dignitaries conducted a tour of SAMI’s latest military and defense technologies and systems on display at the Dubai Airshow and were briefed on the products and services being showcased by SAMI’s companies, namely SAMI Navantia Naval Industries (SAMINavantia), Advanced Electronics Company (AEC), and Aircraft Accessories and Components Company (AACC), which are participating in the show under SAMI’s umbrella.
