Meet Zabeel House by Jumeirah, The GreensTM, a 210-room urban nexus shaking up Dubai’s hotel scene with its Insta-worthy interiors, laid-back vibes, eccentric concepts, and line-up of cool local experts, dedicated to helping you dive into all that the quirky neighbourhood and Dubai has to offer – from just AED 450.

Sound like something you’d like to discover? Here are five reasons why you’ll want to visit Zabeel House, The Greens. Just don’t blame us when you never want to leave!

  • A small but mighty restaurant offering

Because let’s be honest, nobody actually enjoys the indecision that comes with selecting a restaurant, particularly when hungry. Luckily, at Zabeel House by Jumeirah, The Greens, the choice is easy. For a Pan-Asian experience with flavour-packed dishes and drinks, beautiful pool views, a rooftop shisha terrace, and lounge, LAH LAH is the ticket. Think mouth-watering food with funky interiors and atmosphere every day of the week.

On Tuesday evenings, it’s all about the ladies with a special Ladies Night offer of three complimentary cocktails and one snack from 6pm to 11pm, and on Friday, gather your friends and family for ‘It’s An Asian Thing’, a family-style brunch featuring endless eats and DJ beats with beautiful pool views, a rooftop shisha terrace, starting from AED 295.

What’s more, LAH LAH adds an urban touch to the farm-to-table concept with its rustic crate plant holders and a ‘living’ dining table of herbs. Diners can simply pluck from their choice of coriander, mint, thyme and rosemary to herb-up their food to-taste. The restaurant also grows organic vegetables in patches on the terrace, giving new meaning to the classic backyard veggie patch.

Zabeel House by Jumeirah, The Greens’ other foodie haunt is Social Company (or SoCo to the locals.) Complete with on-trend dishes in a comfy, stylish setting, this all-day eatery can be found just off the lobby and is your go-to for breakfast, lunch, dinner and everything in between. Start your day with waffle salmon Eggs Benedict, before tucking into one of the loaded bowls or burgers for lunch, or share the likes of gooey baked camembert and spicy calamari pakora on the sun-drenched terrace, washed down with an ice-cold beverage.

  • Community is key

Community is at the heart of Zabeel House by Jumeirah, The Greens and everything that it does. Spend a chilled-out Friday morning at The Weekender market (launching in early March) featuring some of the city’s best home-grown food, homeware and fashion businesses and more, catch a family-friendly flick at one of the outdoor cinemas, or experience the indoor kids’ play area, an uber-fun space guaranteed to keep the kids entertained for hours.

As a pet-friendly hub, pooch parents are encouraged to treat their fur babies to pup play dates, or simply bring them along while you enjoy some well-deserved down time (there’s even a dedicated puppy lift!)

The adults are top of mind, too. The vast outdoor terrace features a giant screen for movies night (with popcorn, of course), a swimming pool for soaking up the Dubai rays, and running tracks offering the perfect al fresco workout. Then there’s P4 – an alfresco terrace space with capacity for up to 2,000 people. We’re talking music festivals, outdoor yoga, sports events and so much more.

Wanting to get out and explore all that the area has to offer? ‘To my fellow traveller’ is a dedicated section in the lobby wherein guests are encouraged to write down suggestions of things to do and experience around Dubai on a piece of paper, for the next traveller. You are free to take any ‘Recommendation d’Aventure’ so long as you replace it with your own suggestions.

Make sure to take one of the bikes or rollerblades to explore, too!

  • All the creativity at Zabeel House by Jumeirah, The Greens

There’s nothing quite like stepping into a place and instantly feeling like you belong, and Zabeel House by Jumeirah, The Greens is all about bringing this feeling to life. In fact, don’t be surprised if a friendly Australian says hello. Luke James, the hotel’s approachable General Manager lives and breathes the Zabeel House community-focused ethos. More than 1,000 neighbours in the area have a Communikey – a special key that grants discounts on restaurants, brunches, fitness classes, events, rooms and so much more.

The hotel’s electric, welcoming spirit urges guests to find their space and settle in, soaking up all the quirks, features and hidden gems on offer. Better yet, you don’t need to have a room booked to come in and make yourself at home.

The open lobby area buzzes with creativity. Think shelves filled with interesting, one-of-a-kind curious items – such as antique cameras, ceramic animals and bird cage lamps, along with comfy chairs and sofas that are just waiting for you to sink into them with a book, or catch up with a friend or work mate over a strong cup of coffee.

And the surprises don’t stop there. A dedicated pop-up space welcomes local businesses to set up shop, allowing guests to browse at their leisure and perhaps purchase something memorable during their stay.

  • Health and fitness never looked better

Native Club is more than just a gym – it’s a neighbourhood haven. The fully equipped gymnasium with state-of-the-art equipment and an indoor and outdoor functional training zone, it’s the perfect place to inject some excitement into your workouts. Test your speed on the 40m outdoor sprint track, or hit the 18-metre rooftop pool before relaxing in one of the luxurious cabanas.

If you’re not a fan of solo fitness sessions, Native Club’s vibrant fitness studio offers a diverse range of classes from up-beat cardio and circuit training to mellow Tai Chi and Pilates. With Bronze, Silver and Gold memberships available, this one-stop mind, body and soul sanctuary has all bases covered.

Native Club also houses the first organic spa in Dubai. This unique space provides bespoke spa treatments including luxury facials, detox seaweed wraps and sport specific massages to eliminate any aches and pains. The onsite nutritionist runs monthly nutrition, health and wellbeing events and even offers tailored nutrition packages for your every need.

We didn’t forget our little members! The in-house ‘Play House’ provides non-stop fun and babysitting services for kids while parents make the most of all Native Club has to offer.

  • Inspiration at first sight

Stepping into any of the Zabeel House by Jumeirah hotels and you’ll be hit with the refined yet trendy design. After all, it’s the quirks that give a place soul.

Designed by LW Design Group, the hotel takes urban New York-inspired loft living and combines it with Arabic influences, unique artwork and cosy nooks. From a wall design made entirely out of old books, and framed inspirational quotes along the walls to creative doodles on the way to the kids’ play area - there’s inspiration at every turn.

Stroll through the space and you’ll find wooden Origami planes, exposed brick walls, lush green foliage, unshaded bulbs, bright pops of colour, and the eclectic contrast of oak wood panels with edgy black metal – just a few of the hip design elements sprawled across every inch of the hotel. Even the unique and oh-so comfortable furniture is the result of design-forward local brand Tashkeel, whose designs are regularly displayed at Dubai Design Week.

If you’re here to hustle and need a cosy space to do so, nestle into the lobby area or head up to ‘The Study’ on level 4. From group seating and do-not-disturb individual chairs, to lockers for keeping your belongings safe while you zip to meetings, and a kitchen and vending machines for those 3pm munchies – it has everything you need, and nothing you don’t. With three meeting rooms designed for collaboration, the entire space can be booked out for company brainstorming days or private functions.
