Egypt's SODIC awards construction contract for residential project in SODIC West development

Egyptian developer SODIC awarded 210 million Egyptian pounds ($12 million) construction contract for a residential project within its SODIC West mixed-use development in Sheikh Zayed City to Construction & Design (CONSTEC), it was announced on Saturday.

CONSTEC said in a press statement that it would start work on the project in April.

The statement quoted General Manager Ashraf Abdul Hakam as saying the scope of work includes construction of seven residential buildings housing a total of 112 units.

The project would be completed over a 24-month period, he said.

Other SODIC projects being executed by CONSTEC include October Plaza in 6th of October City, Block 34 and Villette in New Cairo and the final phase of Caesar Valley on the North Coast.
