CAIRO- An Egyptian state purchase tender for vegetable oils attracted a lowest offer of $706.59 per tonne for cargoes of 10,000 tonnes or 12,000 tonnes of soyoil, traders said on Thursday.

The lowest offer presented for sunflower oil was $746.11 per tonne for 11,000 tonnes.

Egypt's General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) said on Monday it was seeking at least 30,000 tonnes of soyoil and 10,000 tonnes of sunflower oil for arrival Oct. 10-25 and Oct. 25 to Nov. 11.

The buyer will also accept offers of at least 10,000 tonnes of soyoil and 5,000 tonnes of sunflower oil in Egyptian pounds.

Traders gave the following breakdown of offers presented at the tender in dollars per tonne, unless otherwise stated, on a cost and freight basis:

* ADM: 12,000 tonnes of sunflower oil at $757.00

* ADM: 30,000 tones of soyoil at $723.00

* Aston: 11,000 tonnes of sunflower oil at $752.00

* Hakan: 30,000 tonnes of soyoil at $722.11

* Alex Co. for Seeds: 15,000 tonnes of soyoil at 11,800 Egytian pounds (equating to $713.85)

* Watanya: 12,000 tonnes of soyoil at 11,680 Egyptian pounds (equating to $706.59)

Oct. 25 to Nov. 11

* ADM: 12,000 tonnes of sunflower oil $751.00

* ADM: 30,000 tonnes of soyoil at $718.00

* Aston: 30,000 tonnes of soyoil at $734.00

* Aston: 11,000 tonnes of sunflower oil $747.00

* Hakan: 11,000 tonnes of sunflower oil at $746.11

* Glencore: 30,000 tonnes of sunflower oil at $753.00

* Alex Co. for Seeds: 15,000 tonnes of soyoil at 11,750 Egyptian pounds (equating to $710.83)
