Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt will offer treasury bills (T-bills) worth EGP 17.5 billion over two tranches on Sunday, 28 November, according to official data.

The first issue amounts to EGP 3.5 billion, holding a 91-day maturity period until 1 March 2022.

The second issue stands at EGP 14 billion in value and carries a tenor of 273 days until 30 August 2022, the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) announced.

It is worth noting that Egypt’s last T-bills issues were on Thursday, 25 November, when a total of EGP 18 billion notes were offered for auction.
