Cairo – The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) has approved the listing of Banque du Caire’s capital-increase shares, according to a bourse statement released on Wednesday.

The bank’s capital increased by EGP 3 billion distributed into 750 million shares, the statement added.

Banque Du Caire’s shares are set to be listed on 17 February 2020. Banque Misr has subscribed to all of the capital-hike shares.

Earlier in February, Banque Misr’s chairman Mohamed El-Atreby said that his bank was looking to offer up to 45% of Banque du Caire on the EGX during the first half of 2020.
