ENOC Group has announced 97 million kWh of power savings since 2014, which it achieved through implementing energy and resource management initiatives.

The company said the savings, equivalent to the amount of energy needed to power 8,600 houses per year, were in line with the Dubai Integrated Energy Strategy 2030, and the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050.

The Group has also recorded 230,000 tonnes of reductions in carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions; as well as 477,000 cubic metres of water in cumulative savings, which is the equivalent of enough water to fill 190 Olympic swimming pools, the company said in a press release.

His Excellency Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO, ENOC Group, said: “ENOC has always recognised the importance of incorporating energy and resource management to drive the growth of our group.”
