Cairo –  Banque Du Caire is set to float a stake of between 30% and 40% of its shares on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) by the end of 2019, Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported, citing the Central Bank of Egypt’s (CBE) governor as saying.

In addition, new offers have been submitted to purchase the United Bank, Amer added during Seamless North Africa conference on Monday.

During the first quarter of 2019, Banque Du Caire’s profits surged by 199.2% to EGP 1.218 billion in the three-month period ended 31 March, compared to EGP 407 million in the year-ago period.
