MANAMA - The Bahraini health ministry said On Monday that 15 people died and 792 others tested positive for COVID-19 over the last 24 hours.
 
The new deaths took the overall number of coronavirus mortalities in the country up to 1,236, the ministry said on its Twitter account It noted that the fresh infections include 392 expatriate workers, 393 cases of close contacts and seven cases from abroad.
 
In addition, 1,495 additional patients were cured of the deadly bug, taking the kingdom's overall count of recoveries to 246,074, it added.
