Hamdan Mohamed Al Murshidi, President and Chairman of the Board, Arab Business Club
, has been decorated with the coveted Award of 'Asia's Most Promising Leader
2012-13' in recognition of his singular contribution towards prompting UAE as an ideal investment destination globally. The award was presented at a glittering ceremony at the Asian Brand & Leader
ship Summit 2013 held on 28-29 August 2013 in Dubai.
An initiative of the World Consulting and Research Corporation (WCRC) and ibrands 360 research, Asia's Most Promising Brands is the largest multi-platform brand credibility project involving successful brands and their brand leaders from various Asian countries that have contributed to the brilliant success story to chart a path-breaking progression blueprint of the Asian economy.
'How UAE is contributing to the Global Economy' was the focus of the Asian Brand & Leadership Summit 2013 which was attended by brand leaders from across the Asian world. The Summit deliberated at length the UAE's emerging economy and its growing influence in the Asian markets. The UAE's continuous improvement in competitiveness helped it to become Asia's third strongest economy, said a think-tank in its recently released annual report.
"It is a great honor to be recognized as Asia's most Promising Leader 2012-13, It has deepened my commitment and strengthened my spirit to work harder in enhancing the global status of UAE ", said Al Murshid who was the Guest of Honor at the Summit.
As Founder President & Chairman of the Board of Arab Business Club, Al Murshidi's vision is to establish a business legacy that could be passed on to the next generation and to the young entrepreneurs who are the business leaders of tomorrow.
Arab Business Club is an international business platform formed with the objective to develop trustworthy business relations cutting across regions, cultural, social and geographical barriers to achieve a congenial growth in the best interest of humanity at large. Hamdan who heads many business and social organizations has a cluster of awards to his credit including the UAE Web Awards 2007 and 2008 in the e-commerce category besides RetailME's online retailer of the year in 2007 and Pan Arab Web 2008 awards.
Addressing the business leaders, Hamdan Al Murshidi observed, "UAE is ranked number 26th as the easiest places to do business, according to The World Bank's Ease of Doing Business Report 2013. It has proved to be a safe haven for investors in spite of the global financial crisis. Since its formation, the UAE has transformed from its focus on oil & gas to huge players in banking, real estate and manufacturing. Economic reports show that with the Dubai Expo 2020, there will be a positive impact on employment."

Hamdan has been relentlessly involved in establishing trade & investment ties between the Arab and the African world though his recent official visits to Hungary, Angola and other African countries part from Europe, Turkey and Russia.
