Cairo, Egypt: Arabian Cement Company (ACC), the leading cement producer and seller in Egypt, was recently recognized by the Middle East Investor Relations Association (MEIRA) after being nominated among companies with the best practices in investor relations in Egypt, represented by Karim Naguib, ACC’s IR Manager. 

MEIRA is an independent non-profit organization promoting investor relations best practice in the Middle East. The nomination is part of the 2020 Middle East Investor Relations Awards in partnership with Institutional Investor Research, a leading provider of in-depth performance assessment of the effectiveness of companies’ investor outreach activities. The annual awards identity and praise companies that have achieved outstanding results in the IR community.

With the theme MEIRA 20/20 Vision: Driving Stakeholder Value, the largest IR event in the MENA region provided a virtual networking platform to encourage dialogue around market challenges and best practices, while educating participants and stakeholders on the importance of Investor Relations, transparency and corporate governance.

Arabian Cement Company (ACC) was first established in 1997 by a group of Egyptian entrepreneurs, who aspired to establish a leading Egyptian cement company. The cement factory is located in the Suez Governorate. It produces five million tons of first quality cement, approximately 10% of Egypt’s production.
