The City Municipal Centre in the Abu Dhabi City Municipality has embarked on landscaping works of the median of Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Street in Abu Dhabi.

The project is part of the municipality’s efforts to keep pace with the development drive in the city and maintain the urban appearance of the road, said a statement from the civic body.

The project reflects the keenness of ADM to improve the city's landscape. Improvement works include updating the greenery, and flower bases.

The project is part of a comprehensive drive for revamping the infrastructure, facilities, roads and roundabouts across Abu Dhabi Island. These works aim to enhance the general appearance of the city, reduce maintenance costs, and curb water spillage in the streets, said Abu Dhabi City Municipality.

The project will be undertaken over two phases. The initial phase covers the sector from the intersection of Moqab Street with Rashid bin Saeed Street up to the intersection of Salama bint Butti Street. This phase will cost Dh38.64 million.

Phase two covers the sector from Shakhbout bin Sultan Street to Salama bint Butti Street and from Moqab Street to Al Maqtaa Bridge.-TradeArabia News Service
