Bahrain's Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affars and Urban Planning has invited bids for a tender to carry out the frst phase of infrastructure works at blocks 941 and 943 at Buhair within the Southern Governorate.

The scope of work includes a 6-km-long rain drainage network from Buhair to Sanad, said the ministry in a statement.

The project is mainly aimed at addressing the problem of rainwater in the demarcated area.

The road network will also be upgraded and a main line taking rainwater from Buhair to Tubli Bay will be set up, it added.
