Background

Abu Dhabi University plans to develop its new campus Al Ain Abu Dhabi University, in Asharej, Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, UAE. The project covers the construction of a new campus having a built up area of 45,000 sq.m which will be developed into two phases. Phase 1 will span over an area of 28,000 sq.m and will comprise of 70 classrooms and laboratories as well as 137 faculty and administration offices. In addition to state-of-the-art facilities including a gym, a clinic, a food court, a library, and a prayer room on every floor. The first phase of the new premises can accommodate 2,500 students and once phase 2 will be completed it will increase to 5,000. Khatib & Alami - Consolidated Engineering Company - Sharjah is the structural engineer, MEP, lead consultant and design architect.
