Ceylon Electricity Board planned to develop 220 KV Substation Project in Hambantota Area of Southern Sri Lanka, in Hambantota, Southern, Sri Lanka. The project aimed to provide stable supply of electricity in the region, and support the development of 'Belt and Road Initiative' in Sri Lanka.
