Kazakhstan QazTechna Bus Manufacturing Plant Project

JV of Zhengzhou Yutong Group Co Ltd, QazTehna LLP and Saryarka SEC JSC planned to develop Kazakhstan QazTechna Bus Manufacturing Plant Project in Saran, Karaganda, Kazakhstan. Zhengzhou Yutong Group Co Ltd was the Supply contractor of the project. The project covered the construction of a car manufacturing facility with the capacity of 1200 buses and electric buses as well as 500 units of special equipment per year. In addition, the plant would produce road-building and freight vehicles (approximately 400 units vehicles per year) to accommodate the demand on roads from industrial and mining companies in Kazakhstan. Upon completion, the facility could independently complete multiple processes such as welding and painting, produce passenger car spare parts, and establish a research and development center for testing. The project would promote the economic development of Karaganda State as well as the implementation of Kazakhstan's domestic bus renewal plan.
