plans to develop, Makers District, a waterfront development located on Reem Island, Abu Dhabi, UAE. The project will include the construction of a waterfront mixed-use development over a land area of 180,000 sq.m including residential, hospitality, commercial and retail space. More than 4,000 homes and 100,000 sq.m of office space will be built, alongside food & beverage units, an "art hotel" and a small marina. Phase 1 will include The-Artery, a 7 storey domed structured building, which will span an area of 26,000 sq.m and is a multi-use building that integrates makers space with a parking garage, The-Artery will be 1 of 12 other buildings varying between residential and office spaces. The remaining components of the development have not been revealed.
