Gharraf Oilfield Development Project - Power Plant

Consortium of Japex Garraf Ltd, PETRONAS Carigali Iraq Holding BV andNorth Oil Company planned to develop Gharraf Oilfield Development Project - Power Plant in Dhi Qar Governorate, Iraq. SEPCOIII Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. was the EPC contractor foe this project. This project covered the construction of 3 gas turbines, which included Unit 1, Unit 2 and Unit 3. This project could work as a symbol of friendship and cooperation between the China and Iraq. More power could be provided to the local people and more investment would be attracted. As a key element in the Belt and Road Initiative, this project could contribute a lot to the relations of countries involved.
