Also known as: ABB Xiamen Industrial Center

Asea Brown Boveri S.A.E. planned to develop ABB Xiamen Hub, in Xiang'an, Xiamen, Fujian, China. The project covered 425000 square meters area, which was designed to integrate ABB's entire industry chain from R&D, manufacturing, engineering to sales and service, and covers ABB China's supply chain management and other functional departments. The project would focus on developing and manufacturing products and solutions for the two divisions of electrical products and power grids. The MNS® Low Voltage Complete Laboratory, one of ABB's largest R&D centers for low voltage electrical systems, and the 1200kV UHV laboratory, the highest voltage level laboratory in the country, are located here. The industrial park also has ABB's first remote service center for digital interconnection in China. The project aimed to create a model for a green, low-carbon, sustainable industrial park, which would become one of ABB's largest and most advanced manufacturing bases in the world, and demonstrate the infinite potential of Industry 4.0 through ABB's own plants. It would also provide leading solutions and services for ABB's Chinese users and those who are committed to the 'Belt and Road Initiative' development. By integrating local business activities, ABB would better support the development of high-end industries in Xiamen and surrounding areas, and continue to contribute to China's reform and opening up.
