Bangkok Metropolitan Administration planned to develop Na Ranong Intersection Overpass Bridge Project, in Bangkok, Bangkok, Thailand. Sinohydro Foundation Engineering and TRC Construction Public were the construction contractors. The project covered the construction of an overpass bridge in the Na Ranong Intersection, Klong Toey. The total construction period was 900 days. The project included a main viaduct (1.88 km) and three auxiliary viaducts (total 1.45 km). The turn bridge was 434 meters long and 7.4 meters wide, with two lanes in one direction. The project duration was 30 months for Sinohydro. The main construction tasks included pile foundation construction, removal of existing viaducts and obstacles, foundation of bearing caps and piers, gradual and sloping sections, balanced beams, erection of section beams, pavement and installation of ancillary facilities, etc. The project responded to Belt and Road Initiative and was a solution to help address traffic jams at Na Ranong intersection and nearby areas.
