Public Works Department Sarawak planned to develop Sejingkat Bridge Project, in Sejingkat, Sarawak, Malaysia. China Harbour Engineering Co Ltd was the Construction contractor of the project. The project covered the construction and upgrade of a total of 3.35 km road, of which 1.28 km was bridge. The bridge deck width would be 25.6 m. The main bridge would be a 200+400+200 double tower cable-stayed bridge, and the approach bridge was designed with a 40-meter T-beam. The project was currently the longest main span cable-stayed bridge in Malaysia and one of the longest cable-stayed bridges in Southeast Asia. The project would promote the Belt & Road Initiative cooperation between Malaysia and China.
