There are plans to start reconstructing the M10 motorway using public private partnership in H2 2018. The M10 motorway reconstruction is the first project Belarus intends to implement using public private partnership principles. The motorway is supposed to become part of the Silk Road in the future and part of the European transport system later on. “The development of international transport corridors gives an additional impulse to the industrial sector and economic activity. It makes workforce and freights more mobile. It gives a number of additional economic advantages in cooperation between countries. The construction consist of the reconstruction of existing road and construction of the new bridges. International road M-01 (Kiev — Chernigov — New Yarilovichi) passes through the territory of Kiev and Chernihiv regions. The road ends at the checkpoint "New Yarilovichi", which leads to Gomel (Belarus).
