Background

Ministry of energy of the Russian Federation plan development of the gold-silver deposits Senon and Serebryanoye, which are located in Olsky District, Magadan Region, Russian Federation. The estimated resources of the gold-silver deposits are estimated at category P1 at a rate of 2400 kg of gold and 620 tons of silver. Under the project also will be built 130 kilometers of a road from the field to the workers' settlement and the mining and processing plant. South-Western Mining Company (a subsidiary of the Chinese company Tonghua Mingbang) is the subsoil user of the Senon and Serebryanoye gold and silver deposits and holds a license (till 20.07.2031) for geological exploration, exploration and mining of ore gold and silver.
